Chief Gregory Gilmore and the Blackstone Police Department would like to offer residents some important safety tips as Halloween approaches to ensure everyone celebrates safely and responsibly.
Governor Charlie Baker announced today that all non-essential businesses will need to close on Tuesday, March 24 at noon until April 7. This measure is being done to promote social distancing efforts and to help stop the spread of the virus. All non-essential businesses in Blackstone are asked to adhere to the governor’s order.
Chief Gregory Gilmore is pleased to report that the Blackstone Police Department recently conducted alcohol compliance checks at local businesses throughout town and all establishments passed.
Chief Gregory Gilmore reports that the Blackstone Police Department, in cooperation with the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC), will be conducting alcohol compliance checks at local establishments that are licensed to sell alcohol.
